What are you going to do?
There are countless restaurants in Haarlem. Restaurants that also deliver their meals to customers. As a bicycle courier for Thuisbezorgd, you make sure all meals are delivered from A to B on time. On your bike, you ride all over the city to provide all hungry customers with their food. This way, you get to know the city and the restaurants while earning money.

You use your own bike and smartphone while working. Via Thuisbezorgd's app, you receive your orders and immediately see which route is the best for you to cycle. So don't forget to take a power bank with you during your shift. That way, you won't miss any orders, be on time everywhere and won't miss out on any bonuses! You can also get a bicycle from the company! 

What kind of availability do we require?
Meal delivery largely takes place in the evening. These are therefore the times when you will mainly be working. As a bicycle courier, you can work part-time or full-time. You are available at least two days of which at least one is in the weekend. You work in 4-hour shifts. A longer shift is also possible. Then do a double shift and have an 8-hour working day. 

What will you earn?

Your gross wage is €11.51- per hour (from 21 years and older). Any tips you get you don't have to share. If you wish the customer a nice meal every time with your best smile and you get a tip for it, it goes straight into your own pocket. On top of that, you also get a very nice kilometre allowance which I explain to you below.

Bonus? Definitely!

In Haarlem, we work with several bonus schemes at Thuisbezorgd.

The more hours you work per week, the more bonus you receive! If you work between 16 and 24 hours a week, you will receive a €1 bonus per hour. If you work between 24 and 39 hours a week, you will receive €1.25 per hour. If you work 40 hours a week, you will receive a €2.- bonus per hour!

You work on your own bike and receive kilometre allowance

As a bicycle courier, you use your own bicycle and receive a kilometre allowance per kilometre ridden. For a normal bicycle, this is €0.10 and if you ride an electric bicycle, it is even €0.19 per kilometre. So if you have your own electric bike and you ride, say, 10 kilometres in an hour, you've already added 2 euros per hour!
