Job description

As a bicycle courier at Thuisbezorgd in Amersfoort, you start working from home. Via the app, you receive the first order and drive to the restaurant where you pick it up. Next, you arrive at the customer's door with great enthusiasm to deliver the order. After all, you are the business card of Thuisbezorgd! You wish the customer a pleasant evening and then get back on your bike for the next order.

What will your salary be?

Your gross hourly wage? You will earn €11.51 from the age of 21 and above.  Besides the fact that you get to keep all your tips yourself, you'll also get the aforementioned kilometre allowance: 19 cents p/km for an electric bike, and 10 cents p/km for on a normal bike.

In Amersfoort, we work with several bonus schemes at Thuisbezorgd.

The more hours you work per week, the more bonus you receive! If you work between 16 and 24 hours a week, you will receive a €1 bonus per hour. If you work between 24 and 39 hours a week, you will receive €1.25 per hour. If you work 40 hours a week, you will receive a €2.- bonus per hour!

You work on your own bike and receive kilometre allowance

As a bicycle courier, you use your own bicycle and receive a kilometre allowance per kilometre ridden. For a normal bicycle, this is €0.10 and if you ride an electric bicycle, it is even €0.19 per kilometre. So if you have your own electric bike and you ride, say, 10 kilometres in an hour, you will already have added €2 per hour! 

You work at least 2 evenings a week

Meal delivery largely takes place in the evening. These are therefore the times when you will mainly be working. You are available two evenings a week, with at least one in the weekend. You work 3/4 hour shifts. Would you like to work more hours? Then you can work double shifts.
