We offer a challenging part-time design internship within a creative and innovative startup environment at EarthToday. EarthToday is developing a new for-purpose multimedia content hub to inform, inspire, educate and entertain. The platform will provide a space to showcase high-quality content, from news to scientific discovery to artistic expression, all exhibited in a visually-engaging format. As a design intern, you will be responsible for designing new elements and tweaking existing design elements for the EarthToday editorial team using tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Sketch. You will assist the editorial team in reworking and polishing social media content. You will also work alongside the leadership team to polish decks, slides, and the look and feel of external communication documentation.
By joining our team, you have the opportunity to contribute to the product while it's still in beta, open by invite only. You will work within a small and diverse editorial team with current members from 8 different countries. We are looking for a designer who is technically savvy, uses a dynamic toolset, and has an eye for detail, and can bring a new dynamic to our team. The ideal candidate is detail oriented and considers themself a good listener. We are looking for someone who can think outside the box and consider multiple perspectives. The EarthToday design intern will work closely with an award-winning creative director as well as the former design director from Facebook. This is an opportunity to contribute, learn and grow.
